let me see art through your eyes …

Tina and I are artists and art lovers. We’ll find any excuse to gaze at the world, attend a performance, go to a movie, or walk through a gallery. We love experiencing art together and with friends because of its power to evoke thought and emotion. When that happens, the real “viewing” is of each other—discovering the intricacies of how we each see the world.

My last post was a thought from the nomadic photographic exhibit “Ashes and Snow” which is currently sitting on the beach next to the Santa Monica pier here in Los Angeles. On May 15, it packs up and travels to Beijing.

Most of you will not be able to experience the exhibit first hand but Ashes and Snow has a beautiful website that displays much of the work. So I thought I would invite you to walk the gallery with me. When you have a few moments to take it in, visit the exhibit and then let’s meet back here and talk about your impressions.

Let’s go … Ashes and Snow
